Special Needs Advocacy

Direct Action

In some cases I can offer short term assessment and advocacy in the form of direct contact, letters, and recommendation reports.

It’s important to understand that an advocate has the ability to frame your needs and present your case in a professionally informed way. But this doesn’t mean that I will or can go in and demand or threaten any program or resource into bending policies, procedures, or pricing for families.

Advocating means I can help you to express your concern or need in a professional way and express your desire for the change(s) you are hoping for, but I can never guarantee the end result.
